Bunny's Eye

{Katelyn's preschool teachers will occasionally write down her stories for her as she tells them, kind of like I do on this blog. They love to hear her crazy stories and often ask me where she comes up with these ideas. This is a quick little story she told them today at school.}

My bunny has an eye infection and it is so sad. We need to take her to the Doctor but we don't have enough insurance. Her eye will get better soon. An elephant squirted water on it and it made her eye turn red and hurt. Then Bunny cried because it hurt. This all happened when I was at the zoo with Bunny. I held Bunny while he cried. And Bunny loves me.

Also at the zoo, a lion scraped Bunny in the eye. Then a cheetah scratched her in the eye too. And there's more animals that did this. One was sneaking up on her and has a long body with no legs or feet and has a rattle at the end. What animal do you think that is? A snake! Guess what the snake did to Bunny? The snake slapped her in the eye!

Bunny had to go to the eye doctor and she had an appointment.

The Cats and Owners and Humans

Once upon a time there lived 4 owners. They had a lot of cats. They weren't giving away 1. There was a mommy cat, daddy cat, baby cat, and a mustache cat who was the funniest of all! Then there was 9 cats. They weren't giving away a single one. But the mommy cat's like, "Albert!" Albert is the baby cat. Albert's like, "No mom, I don't want to. I just want to relax." And then there was a lot of cats. Then there was a big, big KK. She was bigger than all of the cats. She had a brother. And she's like, "Brother!" and her brother's like going upstairs. Then there was a boy named Tanner. He was just the right size for his bed. And KK has big legs and Tanner has big legs even though KK's still taller. Then their mom yelled, "Children! Children! Breakfast time!" And their Grandma was having a sleepover.

Katelyn Clark Kitties Rath

Once there was a cute little kitty that had stripes. It's usually called a cat. It's real name is a Kitty. The cute little kitty found it's owners and played with them. And the kitty played by himself. The owners have on a shirt, pants, shoes, and mittens. The cat is in it's little home. He gets a little rest in his home. It is nice and warm in there. The kitty straff-ed with a bed pillow. His bed pillow swished up against a wife like my mommy. Tanner's bed splummed with a thing, like it fell off in the morning. And Tanner bleeded. The kitty helped Tanner to feel better. Tanner was in his pajamas with short sleeves. The kitty was with Tanner to help him fall asleep and the kitty helped him go sleep.

KK was out of her bed cuz she was typing a story. And she was like, "Tanner! What are you doing out of your bed?" KK said, "Here Tanner, I'll walk you to bed."

And Tanner was like, "No. No bed for Tanner."

And KK was like, "Yes, you have to go night night." And Tanner saw KK in her jammas and it gave him an idea. He had to decide what he wanted. Tanner switched to his idea and said, "Teeth!" So he put in his costume teeth like he should have worn for Halloween.

And mommy said, "We should wash those teeth for Halloween. It is coming real soon. And we will go to Daddy's work to trick-or-treat. Do you want to do that, Tanner?" And he was like "YA!" And she said, "Then take off those costume teeth so we can get them ready for tonight." The teeth were big and small.

The family lived in a big house. The dad was farsted, which means that he was confused and we had 2 cats. Daddy was like, "Hey! These cats are wild cats! We can't keep WILD cats!"

One cat was nervous cuz his mom was yelling. There was eyes on the cats, they were blue. The mommy cat squealed that her baby cat is messy. The mommy cat went to the glitter box and that's where they go potty. And the Daddy's like, "Hon, we're out of bread so I'm going to the store." The daddy cat squealed, "Son, it's time for breakfast!" And the little cat came out of it's home and ate his breakfast. The son was asking if they can go for a walk. The daddy thought it was too snowy but then he said "I guess we can" and they all went outside with the owner.

One of the kitties has a mustache and a beard too. Kinda funny. When the daddy came back from the store he said, "I got some more glitter boxes!" There were big ones and little ones for going potty.

{You did read correctly. She makes up her own words sometimes.}

Ariel and Evan Fall in Love

As the queen blast a big tube over to the boy, there were so many ropes on the mountain. Big ropes, little ropes, medium ones, any that you could see. Horse ropes, mean ropes, good ropes, ropes, ropes, ropes. The queen had so many ropes!

Little girls, big girls, come, come, come see the boy, boy, boy. The prince at the temple! There were big spiders, little spiders, spiders all over. Then the princess came and she was wearing a beautiful gown. Little dots, big dots, all over the city.

The queen ran down and looked at the cage. She said, "My, my, my! The princess chewed on the cage!" The mean queen's servant was Chapper.

The prince and princess falled in love and got married.

{Can you tell she has been learning about Dr. Seuss at school this week!?!?}

Katelyn Ariel Blasts off to the Mean Queen's Castle

{Mom's note: Katelyn drew the whole time she told me this story, and until we get our scanner hooked up I'll just snap pictures of her artwork to share. This drawing includes the prince, the castle, and the temple, along with various other elements from her story.}

Once there was a prince. His name was Justin. But the princess Ariel wanted to marry Evan, her friend. Her mommy and daddy named her katelyn but her real name was Ariel. Her third name was Katelyn but her really real name was Ariel. She married Evan because she found him and she gave him a kiss and they kissed on the cheek and Ariel said, "Ew!!"

Then something really bad happened. As usual, a mean bad queen has sent Ariel to a desert. The prince stayed at the temple cuz they were getting married there. A swish, a swash, she ran back to the castle. There was a big wall as she said, "A ladder! A ladder!" Then one of the bars broke as she was going to get over the wall. The prince was at the top of the mountain in the temple. As the queen said, "You'll never find her!" and went back to her castle. The mean queen was going to put a bad spell on the prince. The queen got an apple and put a spell on it like, "Abra-cadoodle, Send the prince off to space!" She took it to the temple where they were getting married and it flashed away the prince up to space!

There was a big colony and with an enemy and they fight him and put him in a swamp. He had to get in a cage cuz they want to get him home and kill him. Then he floated up to the sun as the warriors carefully pulled him to their home. She was so sad cuz she was at the temple again and couldn't find the prince. And the royal guard went, "Ahem! He blasted off to space!"

The prince was still in the cage. As the prince got out of the cage the warriors didn't see him and he blasted back to earth. Then he finally found the princess at the temple. He said to her, "You look beautiful! Let's dance!" He was really nice and danced.

The mean queen came back and brought an apple again. The apple blasted the princess to the mean queen's castle. She was trapped in a cage. The cage was pokey. The cage turned into a big problem spell. She couldn't handle it. But then she thought of something, and she handled it. The queen's castle was so big but had a little door. As the mean queen came down to the cage, the princess was like, "Help! Help!" But the prince didn't hear her. There was a blinking siren on the temple that goes, Woot woot woot. The prince hears it and it goes all the way to the temple and hears the princess cuz the siren goes all the way to the temple and the castle.

TO BE CONTINUED.....................

{She would have kept going for awhile but it's her bedtime so I had to stop her. Sorry to leave you hanging.....}

Mommy and the Baby and Daddy

There was Eric and a girl named Katelyn and they gave her mommy a knife for a wedding present. Eric and Katelyn got married. Her mom's name was Jess and I called her mom. The mom had beautiful eyebrows and eyes. The mom gave her good girl a present. And Katelyn had a baby, and Eric was the Daddy. Eric, the dad, named her Sweet Cutes. And Sweet Cutes went, "Goo goo, ga ga!" When they got married, their baby was so, so cute. Cuter than that. The baby was very very cutey wootey. And her eyes were like twinkly stars and she was so cute.

Their grandma, who was the dad's mom, gave a present to Katelyn when she had the baby. Katelyn, Eric, and the baby opened it together. It was a big letter E that the baby got to roll on and play. The baby loved it and put it on her head like a hat. It had a bell on it.

The baby would start crying when she was hungry. She would lift up her mommy's arm and shout it her mommy's ear, "I'm hungry!" Her mommy would give her milk until the baby was all full and happy. And the baby was like, "Bama mama!" She played and played. The mommy, daddy, and baby went home and the baby played on a rock. She fell off the rock and her mommy catched her.
